Sgherza ( kennel name Fanta ) is a member of a very smart litter which includes Emborcadero, News From Home, Andale Mono and star staying bitch Swift Fantasy who won the Disatance Challenge in New Zealand beating Nellie Noodle coming from well off the pace and winning by 4 lengths.

Sgherza never got to show her best on a racetrack due to niggling injuries.

Her breeding says it all. Swift Flyer is a brilliant broodbitch with her next litter to Bombastic Shiraz just hitting the track. It includes Sips Her Coffee who is already amassing a good race record.

Sgherza is offered to the serious breeder as she is a ¾ outcross and will certainly suit any of Australian stud dogs.

Toula tragically broke down at 1st start when 8 lengths in front. Was showing great promise and subsequent tendon injury led to her retirement.

Has the breeding to be a good broodbitch. She is a maternal sister of Jeff Hand who was a Finalist in the 2007 Group 1 Vic Peters Classic at Wentworth Park.

Toula's dam Gypsy Lee Lass was a Finalist in the 2002 Group 1 Golden Easter Egg. Gypsy Lee Lass is a maternal sister of Rich Hand who was also a Finalist in the 2002 Group 1 Golden Easter Egg.

This damline goes back to National Lass.

Comment :

Despite injuries at breaking in stage ( broken toe + hock ), Tassie Bear won Geelong ( 19.95 BON ), Healesville, Melton Final and placed numerous times at Ballarat, Bendigo, Geelong and Shepparton.

Dam Down Yonder won 15 times from 47 starts. She is a member of a litter by Bearabilty which won over 50 good races.

Grand dam, Keen to Win is a litter sister or maternal sister of many class dogs including Whitten's Legend ( Bendigo Cup ), Morrant ( Warrnambol Cup ), Latest Lad ( Hobart Thousand ).
