Smokey Melody is a maternal sister of champion racebitch Junoesque (Jul 1997) who won the Group 1 National Futurity and Ladies Bracelet and over $100,000 in prize money ( which was a lot of money in 1999/2000 ).

Junoesque won the Group 1 National Futurity in a race record time of 29.95 secs at a time when the 30 second barrier was rarely tested. She was also unlucky not to win the 2000 Golden Easter Egg Final.

Junoesque has gone on to become one of Australia's top producers. Hareeba Miss was a striking looking big bitch that never made it to track. She had a 'ton of ability' but kept breaking down and then turned out to be a 6 monthly bitch.

Owner regretably finally accepted the inevitable and looked toward breeding.
