Won his first five starts at Albion Park by an average of 7 lengths ( fastest of 30.20 at only his third start ).

At just his sixth start he contested a heat of the Golden easter Egg. Exiting box six he won his heat in 30.10 ( sectionals of 5.33 & 13.79 ), beating the likes of NOVEMBER GHANDI, TOLL SECURITY, TOURIST DAN, KOLA'S BEST, SORCERER, BLACK JAGGA and LADY MINT. Official winning margin was 3.75 lengths.

Unfortunately he was 'run out' in the semi finals after suffering severe interference.

CRUISE CREEK returned to Albion Park to win his next start but unfortunately at the subsequent start he dropped a back leg muscle and was retired to stud. He retired from the track with the imposing record of 9 starts for 7 wins.
