Give Me Five had 34 race starts for the great return of 14 wins, 8 seconds and 3 thirds.
He broke the 30 seconds at three of Australia's premier racing venues ;
- 29.65s (BON) - Sandown Park 515m - 22nd November 2007 - Heat of the Group 1 Melbourne Cup
- 29.87s (BON) - Albion Park 520m - 14th June 2007
- 29.93s (BON) - Wentworth Park 520m - 9th April 2007
Give Me Five holds the post to post record at Albion park running a blistering 23.86.
To put that time into perspective, Flying Amy, Bogie Leigh, Miss Hot Gossip, Elite State, Surf Lorian, Black Enforcer, Made To Size etc have never
broken 24 seconds around the track in their careers.
Give Me Five was the fastest qualifier for the 2007 Group 1 Melbourne Cup Final. He won his heat in a scintillating 29.65 (BON) after giving the
Pre Post Melbourne Cup favourite Cool Effort a start and a beating.
Give Me Five finished 2nd in his heat of the 2007 Group 1 Perth Cup but came out the next week to win the Group 3
Perth Cup Consolation beating a quality field that included Shanlyn Prince and Train A Journey in a very quick 30.09. ( Give Me Five is still the Current class record holder). The Final of the Perth Cup was
won by Betty's Angel in 30.47.
He was also an impressive winner of a heat of the 2007 Group 1 Brisbane Cup but sustained an injury in running that necessitated his scratching from the Final.
A lot of time and effort was put into him to get back to the track but the injury was too serious.
