Scarlett O'Hara was forced into early retirement after falling in the National Futurity Semifinal. At that time she was prepost favourite for the Group 1 Final after recording the fastest heat win. She was an extremely fast bitch with a flying second section which put a huge gap in the fields.

Scarlett O'Hara is regally bred being by Elite State out of Junoesque.

Scarlett O'Hara's dam is Junoesque who won the Group 1 National Futurity and Ladies Bracelet and over $100,000 in prize money ( which was a lot of money in 1999/2000 ). She won the National Futurity in a race record time of 29.95 secs at a time when the 30 second barrier was rarely tested. She was also unlucky not to win the 2000 Group 1 Golden Easter Egg Final.

Tempest Beauty was a strong and versatile bitch with wins at Meadows 525m, Meadows 600m, Warragul 699m, Wentworth Park 720m, Wagga 760m. She was also placed 7 times at 10 starts over 725m at the Meadows and ran 4 seconds from 7 starts over Sandown 715m

In addition she was a Wagga 760m track record breaker.

She is a litter sister of Four Way Style who had 76 starts for 14 wins, 15 seconds and 17 thirds and was a Finalist in the 2007 Group 3 Darwin Cup and is a maternal sister of Blue Model who had 60 starts for 16 wins, 10 seconds and 9 thirds.

She has gone on to be a very good broodbitch throwing First Inning who was a Finalist in the 2007 Group 1 Hobart Thousand.
