JIM JOES UP won the E25,000 Joe Dunne Memorial Puppy Stakes in 2005 at Shelbourne Park in the fast time of 28.61. This prestigious race that was won this year by the unbeaten BRETT LEE youngster GOLDSTAR LEE in 28.62 and in 2004 by top grade performer and Derby finalist DIGITAL.

An offer of 100,000 Euros was refused for JIM JOES UP after he ran a scorching 28.68 Clonmel, a time that was only 14/100ths outside the track record of 28.54. Only the very best greyhounds go under 29 secs at Clonmel and on the same night boom puppy and now sire, DROOPY'S SCOLARI ran 28.80.

JIM JOES UP only had 16 starts before serious injury sidelined him for nearly twelve months. He is now back in work and on the comeback trail and a limited amount of frozen semen was drawn while he recovered.

JIM JOES UP is beautifully bred being by Irelands leading sire LARKHILL JO out of QUARE REWARD who is out of a litter sister to all time great race dog SOME PICTURE, sire of WW APPLE JAX's sire DERBY DAY.
