Rivergum Kennels is situated in the picturesque Adelaide Hills, a leisurely 45 minute drive from Adelaide, South Australia. The owners, Greg and Sue Cavenett have been running Rivergum Kennels for more than 13 years and pride themselves on the high quality care they give to greyhounds entrusted to them.

Rivergum Kennels is able to supply the following services;

• Rearing for Pups of all ages
• Spelling of racing dogs in kennel house or runs
• Secure kennelling for bitches on season
• Whelping by arrangement

Rivergum Kennels has a large variety of facilities for greyhounds of all ages and needs. The kennel house is made of stone and has 20 large kennels with hammock beds. The kennel house is cool in summer and snug and warm during the colder months.

The dog runs are many and varied and include 20 metre by 40 metre yards, one acre paddocks and long straight runs.

Dogs are fed beef, chicken and roo meat with fresh finely minced raw vegetables, eggs and weetbix. The diet is supplemented with kelp and calcium and raw bones are given to ensure healthy teeth and strong bones.
